They said it via Twitter: April 20th, there will be a Twitch live stream event where the developers will give us a new update of Diablo IV development.
After the Diablo IV betas (Early Access Closed Beta on March 17-19, and Open Beta on March 24-26), the players have been giving their feedback to the Diablo team of Developers. And Diablo team has heard us:

Additionally, the Diablo Twitter has answered a tweet from 7th April, where a player stated that we needed more Diablo 4 game play-time before it launched on 6-6-2023. Diablo's answer was really interesting, as they said: "That can be arranged..."
It's almost crystal clear that we will have another BETA testing before Diablo IV gets released. We will tune in the Twitch live stream to see what they are up to, and we highly suggest that you tune in Diablo's official Twitch, which is: https://www.twitch.tv/diablo
