This is incredible. It really gives me hope. They acknowledged "hey, this game is great, but it's old, and a new coat of paint isn't enough to cut it, let's make it better".

Any hardcore D2 fan will admit, it isn't a perfect game. There are glaring balance issues with seemingly half the skills in this game. All mercs are unviable compared to A2 merc. Stuff like that.

Exactly!

It's cool that they're doing several changes to D2R. Balancing the skills and buffing those who are not using are simply awesome, as this allow a lot of new builds and ways of playing. As a big fan who has been playing this game for at least *15* years, I just love that the developers are putting such an incredible effort on it.

Great article. Although I've never really played Diablo, it does look and sound great. I need to pick it up at some point. Do you think it's worth playing the first Diablo before playing the second?

Well, it's the same Diablo to be honest; the difference between Diablo II and Diablo II: Resurrected is that the second one is the remasterization of the first one. The history/adventure is esencially the same. But now, Blizzard is doing some changes on Diablo II: Resurrected, making new content/details in addition. So of course, if you haven't played neither, I'd recommend you to simply buy the newest remasterization. It has a 2021 graphics (if you go to Legacy game, mostly you'll have pixels :classic_laugh:).

It costs €40, but I can assure you it's worth every cent!

Oh yeah I've seen some clips and I love the look of it. It's my kinda game tbh. It's a MMORPG right? If I do get it I would probably get the PC version. I know there was a PS4 version but no idea how much flexible that is. Also, not sure about this but also a mobile version?

Nope, Diablo II (Legacy, and Resurrected, doesn't matter) are ARPG. PC version is recommended if you do have a fairly good computer, as the experience will be better. Console versions are limited in terms of players per game, and other things. Also, this game is better playable with mice and keyboard (as most of games :P )

Diablo will have a version for mobile, but it'll be a completely different game and in different scenarios. Game is named "Diablo Immortal", and hopefully it'll be released in 2022, hope they don't make us wait until 2023.

Yeah, I love playing online games on my PC more than console. It plays a lot better on PC, especially when you have 100s online.
